Not only will you complete your Assistant Instructor & Instructor Development Course at some of the gorgeous dive sites of Nelson Bay but you will also benefit from the personalised instruction and experience of training with a dive centre that has been highly respected within the dive industry for over twenty five years.
Pro Dive Nelson Bay prides itself on ensuring that our Instructor candidates are well prepared for their Instructor Exams (IE), resulting in a 100% success rate of our candidates. We also understand that you will be keen to gain instruct once qualified, therefore, where possible, we aim to offer our new instructors the opportunity to work under the mentorship of our experienced staff in order for you to gain practical experience.
**Please note**
In order to be certified as a PADI OWSI it is a PADI requirement that you are an Emergency First Response (EFR) Instructor.
Pre-requisites:
• Hold PADI Assistant Instructor or Divemaster Certification.
• Hold a dive certification for at least six months and have 60 logged dives that include night, deep and navigation dives
• Proof of CPR training within the last 24 months
• Medical clearance signed by a physician
